Making Donations of Funds or Books to the Storybook Project

The Rochester Storybook Project is a not-for-profit program operated by St. Peter’s Episcopal Church — Henrietta. Financial donations should be mailed to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church — Henrietta, 3825 East Henrietta Road, Henrietta, NY, 14467. Checks should be made out to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, with “Storybook Project” written on the memo line.

Those wishing to donate books should contact Britt Hopkin at (585) 309-3645 prior to making any purchases. He will advise about much-needed titles, and about the need for on line ordering “only” and direct mail delivery from either the bookstore or the publisher to the receiving deputy within the jail. We cannot accept books that have been physically handled by the purchaser. This is necessary due to concerns about preventing contraband materials from entering the facility. Britt will advise about the current mailing address within the jail for receiving books. Due to security considerations, all of our received books must be in paperback format. We cannot accept hardback books for this program.
